Urgent: Call on Congress to Extend Telehealth for Hospice Patients!

Congress is considering including telehealth waiver extensions in the upcoming omnibus funding package as soon as next Tuesday!

As you know, during the Public Health Emergency, to conduct face-to-face recertification via telehealth, but if Congress moves forward without including hospice patients in this extension; that flexibility could lapse for the most vulnerable patients. We must act now!  There is no cost to extending these flexibilities, but right now, due to a quirk in the way the CARES Act was drafted, they are not included in the most likely legislative vehicles to extend telehealth flexibilities.  Please join HAN in calling on Congress to include telehealth flexibilities in any future telehealth package.
